Michael Dick I had the privilege of working with Richard for several years at the Barbican Centre in the City of London. What a great colleague to work with, Richard would handle the most difficult and tortuous projects, juggling the challenges of time, cost, technical challenges, internal conflicts, and vexatious residents, all with total calm and gentle humour. I came to know we had a mutual fondness for " the Conch Republic" , (i.e Key West) tales of which would bring much light to our subterranean office on a winters day. A sad loss but fond memories.
